About Card Offers

  • Have an eligible BMO payment card with a member ID on your BMO profile or a linked Mastercard credit card to your Blue Rewards member number.

  • Browse available offers from participating brands and be sure to check the offer requirements and eligibility. Some offers are available for all linked cards, some are exclusive to BMO credit cards, and some offers are for eligible BMO Debit Cards only.

  • Opt-in to the offer if required.

  • Shop an offer and make a qualifying purchase with your linked card - no need to scan your Blue Rewards loyalty card.

That's it! Your Points will show up in your account.

To use your BMO Debit Card at an online merchant, your linked debit card must have a visible Mastercard logo. The merchant must also accept Debit Mastercard as a form of payment.

If you haven't already, link any other non-BMO Canadian-issued Mastercard credit card to your Blue Rewards account.

The following cards can participate in Blue Rewards card offers:

  • All BMO Mastercards, including BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard credit cards
  • BMO Debit cards linked to a personal banking chequing account, including BMO Blue Rewards Debit cards
  • BMO Visa credit cards
  • Non-BMO Mastercard credit cards

The following cards cannot participate in Blue Rewards card offers:

  • Non-BMO Mastercard debit cards
  • Non-BMO Visa cards
  • BMO U.S. Dollar Mastercard
  • BMO Prepaid Mastercards
  • BMO Diners Club credit cards
  • BMO Credit Line for Business Mastercard
  • BMO Commercial cards
  • Other payment cards issued by third-party providers

To use Card Offers, you don’t need to scan your Blue Rewards loyalty card at the time of purchase. Once your eligible BMO card or non-BMO Mastercard credit card is linked, you can earn points at participating brands when you pay with the linked card type specified in the offer terms. Note that some offers require you to opt-in before using. Check what offers are available to you.

No, you don't need to show your Member card to take advantage of card offers. Just use your linked card to make a qualifying purchase at participating brands. Be sure to check the unique offer terms for details.

If there's another non-card offer available, you can scan your Blue Rewards card to earn those Points too.

No coupons necessary! However, some card offers may require you to opt-in before using the offer.

Don't forget, BMO payment cards are automatically linked to your Member account as long as you've provided BMO with your Member number. When you link your Mastercard credit card to your Blue Rewards account, you should receive a confirmation message on the website. If there was an error linking your cards, you'll receive an error message asking you to resolve any issues. You will be able to view the linked card on your Blue Rewards Account Profile in 2-3 business days.

Other Mastercard credit cards

  • Don’t forget, BMO payment cards are automatically linked to your Member account as long as you’ve provided BMO with your Member number. When you link your Mastercard credit card to your Blue Rewards account, you should receive a confirmation message on the website. If there was an error linking your cards, you’ll receive an error message asking you to resolve any issues. You will be able to view your linked card on your Blue Rewards Account Profile in 2-3 business days.

If your Mastercard number is the same on your replacement Mastercard credit card, no action is required. But if you receive a new card with a new number, you’ll have to link the new card unless it’s an eligible BMO card.

The unlink feature is not available to Members using a BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard as the ability to earn Points is an embedded benefit of these products. However, you can opt-out by switching to a BMO non-Blue Rewards product. To do so, call BMO or speak to a representative at your local BMO branch.

Any other Mastercard can be unlinked at any time. If you’ve linked multiple Mastercard credit cards, be sure to unlink individually.

You can view and manage linked cards in the Blue Rewards app by selecting Linked Cards under the Account tab. On the web, go to Your Profile and choose Linked Cards. From there, you can manage and view the last 4 digits of linked cards.

Eligible BMO Cards

The ability to earn Bonus Points from Partners through card offers is a credit card product benefit and is tied to the terms and conditions of the BMO Blue Rewards Mastercard.

If you noticed that your Blue Rewards Member number is incorrect or if you wish to change your Member number, you can call BMO or visit a branch to provide BMO with your updated Member number. Your new Member number will be linked to your BMO card after 2 business days.

If your BMO card was already linked to your active Blue Rewards Member number, no action is required. Your replacement card will be automatically linked to the Blue Rewards Member number.

If you wish to unlink your BMO Debit Card from the card offers program, you can call BMO or visit a branch.

BMO Mastercard holders can no longer link their cards through https://www.bluerewardscardlink.ca.

If you have a non-Blue Rewards BMO Mastercard and want to link your card to your Member ID to enjoy offers, you can do so by calling BMO at 1-877-225-5266 or visiting a BMO branch.

Yes! You can link multiple qualifying Mastercard credit cards to your Blue Rewards Member account. To link additional cards, go to bluerewardscardlink.ca
